Tips To Page Rank

What is Pagerank

Pagerank is one of the major factors in determining the importance of a web page. This is also one of the important aspects of SEO. Pagerank is the name of the algorithm Google uses by which the value of a page is calculated. Pagerank is based on a kind of democratic rule someone links to a web page or reviewed by Google as a vote for that page view.

That is not democratic vote (left) is not always the same value. A link from a page which is a high Pagerank it is worth more than a link to a page with low PageRank. There is a link to a page with only one or two links more valuable than a link to a page with many links.

Page Rank Algorithm

Though the exact Pagerank algorithm is not known to public but the initial algorithm which was published by Larry Page is well known. The original formula is described below

PR (A) = 1 – d + d (PR (B) / L (B) + PR (C) / L(C) + PR (D) / L (D) + …

The components of this formula are:

•PR (A) – It is the Pagerank of the page which is being calculated

•d – Damping Factor

•PR (B) PR (C) etc – The Pagerank of the pages linking to page A

•B) L (C) etc – The number of outbound links on the pages B C etc.

The formula you see now how the Pagerank of a page depends on the Pagerank of the page where linked and the number of links on that page. If only the part between the brackets you can view the following calculation: Suppose A page has a link from page B. Page B has a Pagerank of 5 and 4 outgoing links. The Pagerank which B passes to A is 1.25

The damping factor

d The calculation is a damping factor it is in the calculation because the chance that a visitor leaves a page via a link. Standard Google claimed 15% chance that a visitor would leave the page via a link which means that the damping factor 0.85 remains. In the above example page A than a pagerank of 1 to 0.85 + 0.85 (5 / 4) = 1.2125 given.

How often the page rank is updated

One of the most frequently asked questions is still: Why does my site not Pagerank? That answer is quite simple: He does but he Pagerank is not updated for example the Google Toolbar is not real-time. Calculating the correct Pagerank to the right page is a continuous process but only once per period (usually 3 months) the visible Pagerank upgraded. In addition Google also takes a minimum period for the score of a page to calculate finally all links are analyzed. As a rule you can say that up to 4 ½ month before your Pagerank to a page to see.

More Links doesn’t guarantee higher page rank

This is also a frequently asked question; fortunately the answer is very simple. The easiest way is to think the web in small view. Set the Internet in only 10 pages in which links are attached. You will see that they all have a PageRank of 0 in the first time Pagerank calculation finally does not have a single page Pagerank and therefore they can not pass. There is a value needed to calculate the process gain.

Google itself says that: The sum of all Pagerank will be one. If in the above example none of the 10 pages to display links each page a Pagerank of 1 / 10 this is the entertainment value (initial value). Then the calculation can begin to calculate the actual Pagerank.

What is my Pagerank goes down

As I already said Pagerank as we see (a number between 0 and 10) not the actual Pagerank. Since “The sum of all Pagerank will be one” the actual Pagerank is a number between 0 and 1. Somewhere in the equation the score will be divided by the number of familiar Google Web pages.

That divided by the number of web pages is the reason that Pagerank can go down while the number is left unchanged or even increased. You can only increase as the number of links to your website is growing faster than the number of pages as Google is known.

No more links for my Pagerank

Unfortunately it is not so easy. A page with no outgoing links is seen as a dead-end on the web. A user has only one choice and that is another way to find a new webpage. In this case it is not possible to calculate where a visitor then goes and sees Google as this to any other website linked. In practice this means that a page without links so even more will lose value (and therefore less will score).

Tips to Make Hair Thick

Wish your hair were longer and thicker? Who doesn’t! Long, thick hair looks beautiful any way you wear it. But for some of us, thin hair is a problem, or we’re used to short cuts and afraid to grow them out. Fear not. It’s easy to get longer, thicker hair. Just try these easy tips.

  • Get a good, professional haircut, and don’t be afraid to go a bit shorter than you might like the first time. Ask your stylist to cut off dry, split ends and give you a style that will grow in thicker and beautiful. The goal is to get your hair in healthy condition to grow it longer and thicker.
  • As your hair grows in, return for regular trims every 6 to 8 weeks to keep hair healthy, strong, and in the best condition to get longer and thicker. Ask your stylist to apply a salon-quality conditioner to keep hair smooth and strong.
  • Wash your hair every few days — do not overwash. Washing hair too often pulls the strands, damages the scalp, and rids your hair of the natural oils that are essential for growing longer, thicker hair.
  • Gently condition hair every day. Apply products generously and massage into scalp for 3 to 5 minutes. Put extra conditioner on the ends and leave in after rinsing. Use warm water and a cool rinse — never immerse hair in hot water.
  • Detangle hair regularly using a wide-toothed comb. Knots and tangles interfere with the hair’s ability to grow longer and thicker.
  • Don’t overdry your hair with a hair dryer. Instead, blow-dry hair lightly, or better yet, let it air-dry.
  • Avoid using curlers, hot rollers, curling irons, or straightening irons. They all cause hair to dry out, and hair can’t grow longer than its damaged ends. Instead of getting thicker, your hair will actually start to thin.
  • Invest in a top-quality brush with natural bristles. Try 100 strokes before bed each night to stimulate hair growth.
  • At night, tie back hair in a ponytail or braid, then roll into a bun and tie it up. This protects hair from pulls and knots while you toss and turn in your sleep. Use soft cloth hair ties — never uncovered elastic! — and secure gently.
  • Use a hot oil treatment or hair mask once a week to nourish hair. Follow the directions on the package, let it sit in the plastic cap for at least 30 minutes, then rinse and style as usual.
  • Go for the natural look — avoid permanent waves or straightening treatments. While these may give the illusion of longer, thicker hair temporarily, they damage hair and prevent it from growing thicker and longer on its own.
  • Be smart about your hairstyle. Wear hair up or pulled back on hot days to reduce sweat and grime, but wear hair loose whenever possible. Too much pulling, tying, braiding, twisting, and fussing breaks hair and makes it harder for you to grow long, thick hair.
  • Lead a healthy life. Good nutrition, adequate rest, regular exercise, and stress management all help your body grow longer, thicker hair.

It’s easy to get your hair longer and thicker. With a little love and smart styling, your hair can get thicker and longer naturally.

Tips for a Healthy Relationship

I’ve written a lot about healthy relationships and what aspects successful couples have that make them unique. As I continue my couples therapy work I continue to gather more information about relationships, the importance of good couples communication, their most significant sticking points – and what brings them together.

Here are my top 5 relationship tips for having and maintaining a healthy relationship:

1) Learn to Communication Effectively: This is probably the most important tip of them all because without good couples communication, the rest can go “south” pretty quickly. Research “active listening” and “I-feel” statements for a good start.

2) Educate Yourself About Emotional Safety: “Emotional safety” is one of the cornerstones of my couples counseling work. People have slightly different ideas about what this means and I have a pretty specific definition that can be found in an article I wrote here: Basically, the more emotionally safe couples feel together – the more connected they are.

3) Maintain Relationship Balance: Relationships are like two overlapping circles with the middle section representing the “relationship” and the outer rings representing the “individuals” in the relationship. Usually the healthiest relationships are those where there is attention paid to all parts but couples will probably have slightly different versions of what works for them – which is ok!

4) Check in With Each Other: Life is so hectic these days that a lot of couples forget to check in with each other. Kids, jobs, friends, bills…the list of distractors can go on and on. I encourage couples to plan atleast one time a week where they know they can spend uninterrupted time to be together to check in. “How are you? What’s going on?” It’s amazing how easy it can be to forget to do this and the distance between two people can slowly grow.

5) Don’t Forget to Laugh: Humor is the great conflict de-escalater and a wonderful release. I’m always encouraged by couples I’m working with who laugh a lot, have private jokes, pet names for each other or whatever! If you lighten up in your relationship it will pay great dividends.

Tips to Younger Looking Skin

Easy Things You Can Do To Have Younger Looking Skin! Skin is the largest human organ. It has a surface area of about 15-20 square feet.

Our skin is very important. It protects us against getting dried out and prevents us from getting poisoned with toxic compounds from the environment.
To keep your skin looking young and healthy, read the tips below.

   1. Limit sun exposure and protect your skin with sunblock when in the sun.
   2. Use a mask to tone and tighten your skin. The tightening effect is cosmetic and temporary, a mask has other benefits such as cleaning out your pores, and conditioning your skin.
   3. Brighten droopy eyes by grooming eyebrows. This gives the illusion of lifted lids, and having more skin showing at the brow bone opens up the entire eye.
   4. Instant Eye Lift by curling your eye lashes.
   5. Downplay wrinkles by applying highlighter to creases.
   6. Don't use face powder, it can collect in creases and make wrinkles more prominent.
   7. Put your hair in a ponytail. It’s a youthful hairstyle, and Bangs do a great job of hiding forehead wrinkles.
   8. Use a good moisturizer to hydrate and plump up your skin cells.
   9. Cut back on caffeine. Caffeine makes it very unlikely that the skin cells will ever pick up enough water, even if you drink a gallon of water a day.
  10. Avoid Yo-Yo Dieting. Yo-Yo dieting will cause your skin to stretch and become less elastic.
  11. Reduce or eliminate dairy. Dairy products are for many people difficult to digest and mucous-forming. Try soy or rice milk as substitutions.
  12. Try not to frown. Over time, the frown lines will become more visible.
  13. Avoid cigarette smoke. Cigarette smoke exposes you to damaging free radicals that will accelerate the aging process by damaging the microcapillaries in the skin.
  14. Eat a healthy, balanced diet. Eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, and avoid refined sugars, flours and processed foods.
  15. Exercise

Tips to Reduce Stress

While you may not be able to solve the biggest stressors in your life, you can do something about many of the smaller stressors that "nickel and dime you to death." Here are some proven stress reducers you can implement in daily life to help:

    * Get up 15 minutes earlier each morning. That gives you a little more time to eat something, run back to get something you forgot, or enjoy a cup of coffee before heading out the door. If you drive to work, a 15 or 20 minute head start may decrease some of the traffic you face, and make the commute less stressful.
    * Prepare for mishaps. Make an extra copy of your house key and bury it in your neighbors' yard; make a second copy of your car key and tape it under your coworker's desk. Both may allow you to get home and inside the house if you loose your keys. If you do have to use them, pat yourself on the back for being smart.
    * Don't do something if you will have to lie about it afterwards. While this may seem obvious, the nagging guilt we feel often wears us down or makes us anxious about getting caught… Sure, it may be more time consuming to fax your resume to new job sites from Kinko's, but you don't have to worry about being caught.
    * Do something healthy for yourself. That could mean taking the stairs once a day instead of the elevator, picking one day a week to have a salad for lunch, or eating fresh fruit instead of a candy bar. What's the overall effect on your health? Maybe not much, but small steps lead to bigger ones, and doing something simple for your body is the best way to start.
    * Write it down. There is an old Chinese proverb that goes, "The palest ink is better than the most retentive memory." All those "Seven Secrets" tips are based on writing things down. Write down goals, errands, chores, due dates for projects and library books… Instead of just a "To Do" list, keep a "Have Done" list too. Move things over to that list after having completed them. At the end of the day, review how productive you were.
    * Do something special on a whim. Buy flowers for your partner unexpectedly. Sneak a small greeting card that says "I love you" into your child's lunch box. Bring donuts, bagels, or muffins to the office for others one morning. You get the picture. Someone else's smile and "Thanks" can sometimes make a bad day better.
    * Be willing to forgive others. Allowing others the right to make a mistake goes a long way toward forgiving yourself for mistakes. Assume that others are doing the best they can. Mark Twain once said, "Never attribute to malice what can easily be attributed to stupidity." This goes a long way toward doing the best you can as well.
    * Don't eat lunch at your desk. Get away to somewhere quiet or different if only for a 15 or 20 minute break.
    * Delegate new jobs. Say no to avoid additional responsibilities. Simplify. Put your best effort into a task, and ask yourself, "Is it really that important?" before you decide to do it over. Learn to ignore others' criticism sometimes.
    * Get up and stretch periodically. Twist side to side and bend front to back. Roll your head around to stretch your neck a bit. Trade shoulder rubs with a coworker. If you used to smoke, but have stopped, get up and take a break anyway when you feel the need to smoke. A quick trip to the water cooler, to a coworker's desk, or to the restroom doesn't provide the nicotine a cigarette used to, but it does give you the break and moment's respite a cigarette did.

Tips to Women Heart

Dr Karla Kurrelmeyer at the Methodist DeBakey Heart and Vascular Center in Houston recommends a few heart healthy tips for women to prevent and manage heart disease.

  • The most important thing is to stay to as physically fit as possible. Every woman should work exercise into her lifestyle, find something she can enjoy doing, and do it regularly and often.
  • In addition to exercising, every woman should follow the Mediterranean diet, which is high in fish and fresh vegetables, and low in processed carbohydrates.
  • Get your cholesterol checked, especially if there is a family history of heart disease or stroke. At age 20 women are seeing their OB/gynecologists who perform blood pressure checks, fasting lipid panels and fasting sugars. Even young women should pay attention to these numbers and be on alert if any are out of range. If these numbers are abnormal, they indicate that you are at risk for developing heart problems in the future. They are early warning signals, which if corrected and treated can help prevent the development of heart disease. Often these numbers can be corrected with lifestyle changes including improving your diet, exercising and losing weight. If these measures fail, they can be easily corrected with medication.
  • An initial, thorough heart check at age 40 is recommended if a woman has risk factors or a family history of heart disease, or at age 50 if there’s no family history or risk factors. In any other case, heart scans are not required until age 55.
  • Women should also be aware of stroke. Stroke prevention is very similar to heart disease prevention. Blood thinners and cholesterol drugs called statins have been shown to help prevent heart attacks and the need for bypass and angioplasty. These same drugs are also proven to reduce the incidence of stroke.
  • Women are twice more likely to have a stroke than men. On the other hand, men have more heart attacks than women. “We are not sure why, but in the end, it’s likely all the same disease process and we treat them similarly. Stroke can have a devastating impact, not only on the survivor, but on everyone who cares for her. It’s another dramatic reason to take care of yourself, says Dr Karla Kurrelmeyer.
“At the Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center in Houston, we’ve launched several clinical trials designed to research new treatments and diagnostic tools in heart care for women. The data in one study suggests that if you can perform an exercise treadmill stress test, the likelihood of having a cardiac event in the next five years is really quite low.

“The good news is that heart disease can be prevented. You have the tools at your disposal. Take advantage of them,” Kurrelmeyer added.

Another 10 best Tips to loss-weight

Losing pounds doesn't have to be torture (we're looking at you, cayenne-pepper cleanse). Adopt at least three of these behaviors — they're simple to integrate into your day-to-day routine, and all are enthusiastically backed by nutritionists — and you'll be thinner and healthier in days. (Plus, the weight will stay off.)

1. SNACK, BUT SMARTLY

Grazing between meals used to be on the weight-loss hit list. But nutritionists now know that it's better to satisfy a craving with healthy grub than ignore it and risk a junk-food binge later. The best picks are filling, protein-packed snacks, such as one stick of string cheese, a tablespoon of peanut butter on a piece of fruit, or a medium-size bowl of edamame.

2. TURN OFF THE TV

Dining while viewing can make you take in 40 percent more calories than usual, reports a new study. And texting, driving, or any other distracting activity during a meal can also result in your eating too much. Instead, make each meal something you put on a plate and sit down to, even if you're eating solo.

3. STEP ON THE SCALE DAILY

If your regular weight increases several days in a row, it's a red flag letting you know you need to cut back a little or beef up your workouts slightly.

4. SCULPT THREE TIMES A WEEK

Doing 5 minutes each of push-ups, lunges, and squats (in 30-second intervals) will help build and maintain muscle mass. The more muscle you have, the higher your metabolism will be, so you'll torch more calories as you go about your day.

5. REACH FOR YOUR CELL

Next time your mind gets stuck on a certain food, call a friend and redirect your brain by asking how her day's going. Research shows that cravings only last about 5 minutes, so by the time you hang up, the urge to devour junk will have subsided.

6. EAT A BIG, BALANCED BREAKFAST

An a.m. meal made up mostly of carbs and protein with some fat keeps blood-sugar levels steady and hunger pangs away so you're not susceptible to pigging out come lunch, studies show. Opt for something satisfying for your stomach and taste buds — like egg whites and turkey bacon with whole-wheat toast.

7. WATCH THE BOOZE

One innocent-looking margarita or cosmopolitan can rack up hundreds of calories that do nothing to quench your appetite. Treat yourself just on the weekends and cut back somewhere else or stick to a glass of wine, light beer, or vodka and soda — three drinks that each have about 100 calories per serving.

8. HAVE FRUIT TWICE A DAY

Fruit has no fat and is mostly water, so it'll fill you up while leaving less room on your plate (and in your stomach) for high-cal fare. Don't freak about fruit's carb count — we're talking the good kind of carbohydrates that contain lots of healthy fiber.

9. STAY ASLEEP LONGER

Getting to bed just 30 minutes earlier and waking up 30 minutes later than you normally do can help you make better food choices, researchers report. Also, when you're well-rested, you're less prone to snacking out of fatigue or stress.

10. VISUALIZE YOURSELF THIN

When you feel your willpower breaking, conjure up a mental picture of yourself when you looked and felt slim. The visual motivation keeps you focused on your goal weight and reminds you that it is attainable, since you've achieved it before.

Tips To control Diabetes

When it comes to type 2 diabetes — the most common type of diabetes — prevention is a big deal. It's especially important to make diabetes prevention a priority if you're at increased risk of diabetes, for example, if you're overweight or have a family history of the disease.

Diabetes prevention is as basic as eating more healthfully, becoming more physically active and losing a few extra pounds — and it's never too late to start. Making a few simple changes in your lifestyle now may help you avoid the serious health complications of diabetes down the road, such as nerve, kidney and heart damage. Consider the latest diabetes prevention tips from the American Diabetes Association.

Tip 1: Get more physical activity

There are many benefits to regular physical activity. Exercise can help you:

Lose weight. Lower your blood sugar. Boosts your sensitivity to insulin — which helps keep your blood sugar within a normal range. Research shows that both aerobic exercise and resistance training can help control diabetes, but the greatest benefit comes from a fitness program that includes both.

Tip 2: Get plenty of fiber

It's rough, it's tough — and it may help you:

Reduce your risk of diabetes by improving your blood sugar control. Lower your risk of heart disease. Promote weight loss by helping you feel full. Foods high in fiber include fruits, vegetables, beans, whole grains, nuts and seeds.

Tip 3: Go for whole grains

Although it's not clear why, whole grains may reduce your risk of diabetes and help maintain blood sugar levels. Try to make at least half your grains whole grains. Many foods made from whole grains come ready to eat, including various breads, pasta products and many cereals. Look for the word "whole" on the package and among the first few items in the ingredient list.

Tip 4: Lose extra weight

If you're overweight, diabetes prevention may hinge on weight loss. Every pound you lose can improve your health. And you may be surprised by how much. In one study, overweight adults reduced their diabetes risk by 16 percent for every kilogram (2.2 pounds) of weight lost. Also, those who lost a modest amount of weight — at least 5 to 10 percent of initial body weight — and exercised regularly reduced the risk of developing diabetes by almost 60 percent over three years.

Tip 5: Skip fad diets and make healthier choices

Low-carb diets, the glycemic index diet or other fad diets may help you lose weight at first, but their effectiveness at preventing diabetes isn't known nor are their long-term effects. And by excluding or strictly limiting a particular food group, you may be giving up essential nutrients. Instead, think variety and portion control as part of an overall healthy-eating plan.

When to see your doctor
If you're older than age 45 and your weight is normal, ask your doctor if diabetes testing is appropriate for you. The American Diabetes Association recommends blood glucose screening if:

  • You're age 45 or older and overweight
  • You're younger than age 45 and overweight with one or more additional risk factors for type 2 diabetes — such as a sedentary lifestyle or a family history of diabetes

Share your concerns about diabetes prevention with your doctor. He or she will applaud your efforts to keep diabetes at bay, and perhaps offer additional suggestions based on your medical history or other factors.

Tips to Fastest Way to Refresh a Page in Firefox

This How To is made for those that refresh pages very often and look for ways to improve their efficiency. It's a small trick. Ok, there are 3 ways to refresh a page in Firefox efficiently:

1. Pressing F5, this is a simple and fast way, requires your finger to press a key.

2. The RAW refresh is the second most efficient way, it's used when you want to refresh a page that loads from the cache some images instead of contacting the server. Therefore even you have a new picture on a page you'll still see the old picture. To RAW refresh press CTRL+R. 3. The third method is to push the refresh button which is located through the toolbar's other extensions and buttons.

4. The fourth and in my opinion the fastest way to refresh a page and the most comfortable because you only use the mouse and you move it very little even comparing it with pushing the refresh button is like this:

Click on the page tab you want to refresh and drag it anywhere on the page. The page will be refresh as soon as you let go. Because you do it with only 1 hand is comfortable, I believe is faster then the refresh button. Try this trick, I believe you'll like it.

Tips To Increase Browsing Speed for IE and Firefox

You really don't need to tweak your browser in case you are using Firefox because it is a browser which has been specially designed for optimized and fast browsing but if you can make it even a little more fast that would certainly be a treat for you. Likewise there is a trick to make Internet Explorer 6 fast too. Browsers are designed to work with fast connections but with this trick even dial-up users can experience fast and smooth browsing.

Optimize Firefox and IE Browsing Speed

I shall be teaching you two tricks which work separately on Firefox and Internet Explorer. It doesn't require you to be some expert rather all you have to do is change some registry values and you are done. I have also included a video tutorial for those who want to see it step by step visually. This is perhaps one of the oldest tricks to optimize Firefox and IE but it still works great.

Trick to Increase Firefox Speed

1. Open Firefox and in the address bar write about:config and press enter
2. Double click network.http. pipelining and set it to True
3. Double click network.http. pipelining. maxrequests and set value to 10 from 4
4. Right click and create a new string nglayout.initialpai nt.delay and set its value to 0

You are done. Enjoy lightning fast Firefox browsing and now for IE.

Trick to Increase Internet Explorer Speed

1. Go to Start –> Run and type regedit
2. Select HKEY_CURRENT_ USER –> Software –> Microsoft –> Windows –> Current Version –> Internet Settings
3. Increase the values (DECIMAL) from default to a higher value e.g. 10

See the difference in speed of IE :D

Tips to Speed up Firefox without Re-Installation

Problem: You cannot imagine life without Firefox but over time, your favorite browser keeps getting slower and slower.

Not only is it slow, Firefox sometimes hangs for no reason, consumes a large amount of memory and CPU usage can climb to 90% or more when you have multiple tabs open simultaneously.

You have uninstalled most of the extensions and toolbars, deleted all the cookies and Internet temporary files, cleared up the file download queue and disabled the background check for software updates - but none of this has helped you speed-up Firefox.
Solution: This is a common problem especially if you have been running Firefox for some time - I don't know why Firefox slows down but here's a small trick to rejuvenate the aged copy of Firefox without doing a fresh install.

Step 1: Start Firefox and export your bookmarks as a file on your hard-drive (we'll need them later).

Step 2: Type Firefox.exe - P in the Run box of Windows. (see screenshot)

Step 3: Click the Create Profile button without making any modifications to your existing profile (which is normally called "default")

Now when you Start Firefox in the new profile, you are very likely to be impressed with the speed. You can import the bookmarks that you saved in Step 1. If you have made any changes to the Firefox Dictionary, copy the persdict.dat word list file from the old profile folder to the new one.

Yes, there won't be any old Firefox add-ons in the new profile but the browser will be extremely quick and won't hog the CPU - just the way you want Firefox to run on your computer.

And if you ever need to revert to the old profile, just type Firefox -P again and click the old profile. Nothing is lost.

Tips After Child Birth

Being a tough and painful process, the process of childbirth is called labor.
Unlike ordinary cramps, labor pain is characterized by regular contraction of the womb. Starting from an interval of every 20 minutes, the frequency of the labor pains increases to 3 to 4 minutes.

Each labor pain consists of contraction and relaxation periods. During contraction, the neck of the womb (cervix) gets dilated. As it becomes stronger, the plug of mucus which covers the mouth breaks, letting bloodstained discharge. This occurs during the relaxation period. During each contraction, the muscles of the womb push the baby’s head further towards the cervix, thus stretching the cervix. Eventually, the mouth of the cervix is fully dilated.

Starting from back, the pain gradually moves to the front. From onset of pain to full dilation takes 12 to 24 hours, thus giving ample time for hospitalization.

Once the cervix is fully dilated, the sac of water surrounding the baby bursts. With this leakage of fluid, the labor pain heightens. The mother feels an extreme urge to push the baby out. Remember, all it takes is strong will, for nature is always there to help us out.

Eventually, the baby’s head reaches the edge of the mother’s body (vulva). After that the limbs and trunk are pushed out. As the baby comes out. Lot of blood-stained fluid also gushed out. This process of complete dilation of the cervix and eventually birth of baby takes anything between 15 minutes to an hour or two. As soon as the baby is out, the umbilical cord is cut and clamped.

After the birth, the placenta is separated from the womb. It takes about 10 minutes to do so and is usually possible through voluntary effort. But if the mother fails to do so, it can be pushed out by pressing the abdomen in a definite manner.

After birth, the doctor takes the 1-minute Apgar score to find to study the health of the child, with score 2 indicating perfectly health baby.

Tips To Fast Hair Growth

A fundamental principal in natural hair loss treatment is that the same foods that are good for your health are good for your hair.

Foods that are high in protein, low in carbohydrates, and have reduced fat content can help in maintaining healthier hair and preventing hair loss. For example, soybean, essential fatty acids, found in spinach, walnuts, soy, tuna, sardines, sunflower seeds and canola oil, are important dietary essentials useful in keeping hair healthy. Vitamins and Amino Acids are important for your health and they can also help you to have superior hair growth.

Remember that omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids contain anti-inflammatory properties that are useful in maintaining healthy hair. If you are avoiding fatty diets altogether; insufficient levels of these essential fatty acids could actually lead to quicker hair loss.

Iron deficiency causes maximum damage to the hair by lowering the hemoglobin level, which in turn reduces the oxygen-carrying capacity of the blood. Oxygen deficiency weakens the hair follicles, leading to dryness of the scalp and hair loss.

Take care to have iron supplements if you are suffering from anemia for some reason. However, also bear in mind that too much iron is toxic and can also cause hair loss (and worse). So don’t overdose on the iron supplements.

Proteins and calcium are extremely important for tissues. Any deficiency of either proteins or calcium can permanently damage your hair, therefore a diet rich in protein and calcium is recommended.

Soybean, as we all know is one of the richest sources of proteins and hence is good for hair. But undigested soybean is harmful; hence it is essential to eat only the requisite amount of soybean.

Tips to Stop Hair Loss

As we get older, many of us wonder how to stop hair loss. We might notice more hair in the shower drain or in our brushes or combs. It’s natural to want a full head of hair; hair loss and thinning doesn’t have to be part of growing older. Did you know that even children and young adults can experience excessive hair loss? Fortunately, there is something you can do about it!

Why am I Losing my Hair?

The normal cycle of hair growth depends on healthy follicles and good blood circulation to the scalp. However, there are many conditions and circumstances that can disrupt the growth of a healthy head of hair.

The stress of illness or surgery can cause hair to fall out as can a hormone imbalance. And overactive or under active thyroid can cause hair loss. Medicines that treat heart problems, gout, high blood pressure and depression can make you lose hair as can birth control pills and blood thinners.

The way you treat or style your hair can also cause hair loss. Styles like cornrows and tight pigtails can stress follicles and cause hair to fall out. The chemicals used in permanents can scar your scalp and destroy hair follicles, as can hot oil treatments.

Hair loss is also caused by diseases like lupus or diabetes, diseases you may not know you have. This is why it is so important to see a physician to determine why you are losing your hair. It could quite possibly save your life!

Medicines that Stop Hair Loss
Finasteride, marketed as Propecia, is available by prescription only. It is intended solely for men due to its harmful side effects for women. In fact, pregnant women are cautioned to avoid even touching this medicine. Users of Propecia may not notice results for up to six months but it has proven effective in preventing hair loss. Minoxidil (Rogaine) is a common way to treat hair loss. You don’t need a prescription and simply by applying it to your scalp and following the directions, you could see you hair loss stop in a matter of weeks. Rogaine can be bought online or you can get it at your pharmacy or any retail store.

There are also shampoos that can stimulate new hair growth as well as stop hair loss. One such product is DS Laboratories Revita Hair Growth Stimulating Shampoo; it is made without Solium Lauryl Sulfate and Solium Laureth Sulfate, two ingredients that are used in engine degreasers and most commercial shampoos. These ingredients destroy hair follicles but give consumers the lathering properties they want—not a good trade off! Used several times a week, most consumers have reported noticeable results by the third week.

If you prefer an oral remedy you might like Nioxin Intensive Therapy Recharging Complex. This product gives your scalp and hair follicles the nutrition they need to regain their healthy function, stay productive and it helps to restore the skin of your scalp to its ideal condition. Most people see results within 30 days.

What about Natural Remedies?
Saw Palmetto blocks DHT, a metabolite of testosterone that is responsible for both hair loss and prostate cancer. It’s been used for centuries by American Indians as a way to keep their skin and hair healthy. Nettle root also blocks DHT and has been known to even generate new hair growth.

Massaging your scalp at least once a day helps promote healthy circulation and keeps follicles active. If you think your hair loss stems from physical or emotional stress, meditation can help you stop hair loss.

Eat a Healthy Diet
A protein rich diet with fish, eggs and beans is an effective way to stop hair loss (eat egg whites if you don’t want cholesterol). High fat diets increase testosterone levels, which are linked to hair loss, so limit your red meat and eat leaner proteins like chicken, almonds, yogurt and beans. To get the full advantage of your vitamin usage, you need silica. Silica helps the body absorbs vitamins and can be found in bean sprouts, bell peppers, potatoes and cucumbers. If you’re wondering how to stop hair loss, you have a lot of options that will also improve your overall health!

Top 10 SEO Mistakes

1. Targeting the wrong keywords
This is a mistake many people make and what is worse – even experienced SEO experts make it. People choose keywords that in their mind are descriptive of their website but the average users just may not search them. For instance, if you have a relationship site, you might discover that “relationship guide” does not work for you, even though it has the “relationship” keyword, while “dating advice” works like a charm. Choosing the right keywords can make or break your SEO campaign. Even if you are very resourceful, you can't think on your own of all the great keywords but a good keyword suggestion tool, for instance, the Website Keyword Suggestion tool will help you find keywords that are good for your site.

2. Ignoring the Title tag
Leaving the <title> tag empty is also very common. This is one of the most important places to have a keyword, because not only does it help you in optimization but the text in your <title> tag shows in the search results as your page title.

3. A Flash website without a html alternative
Flash might be attractive but not to search engines and users. If you really insist that your site is Flash-based and you want search engines to love it, provide an html version. Here are some more tips for optimizing Flash sites. Search engines don't like Flash sites for a reason – a spider can't read Flash content and therefore can't index it.

4. JavaScript Menus
Using JavaScript for navigation is not bad as long as you understand that search engines do not read JavaScript and build your web pages accordingly. So if you have JavaScript menus you can't do without, you should consider build a sitemap (or putting the links in a no script tag) so that all your links will be craw label.

5. Lack of consistency and maintenance
If you want to be successful, you need to permanently optimize your site, keep an eye on the competition and – changes in the ranking algorithms of search engines.

6. Concentrating too much on Meta tags
A lot of people seem to think SEO is about getting your Meta keywords and description correct! In fact, Meta tags are becoming (if not already) a thing of the past. You can create your Meta keywords and descriptions but don't except to rank well only because of this.

7. Using only Images for Headings
Many people think that an image looks better than text for headings and menus. Yes, an image can make your site look more distinctive but in terms of SEO images for headings and menus are a big mistake because h2, h2, etc. tags and menu links are important SEO items. If you are afraid that your h1 h2, etc. tags look horrible, try modifying them in a style sheet or consider this approach: http://www.stopdesign.com/articles/replace_text.

8. Ignoring URLs
Many people underestimate how important a good URL is. Dynamic page names are still very frequent and no keyword in the URL is more a rule than an exception. Yes, it is possible to rank high even without keywords in the URL but all being equal, if you have keywords in the URL (the domain itself, or file names, which are part of the URL), this gives you additional advantage over your competitors. Keywords in URLs are more important for MSN and Yahoo! but even with Google their relative weight is high, so there is no excuse for having keywordless URLs.

9. Back link spamming
It is a common delusion that it more back links are ALWAYS better and because of this web masters resort to link farms, forum/new group spams etc., which ultimately could lead to getting their site banned. In fact, what you need are quality back links. Here is some more information on The Importance of Back links

10. Lack of keywords in the content
Once you focus on your keywords, modify your content and put the keywords wherever it makes sense. It is even better to make them bold or highlight them.

Top 10 Tips to Diabetes Patients When Walking

The experts agree -- walking and other exercise is the prescription for people with diabetes. The American Diabetes Association says there is no restriction on what exercise diabetics can do, and it is the best way to prevent weight gain and cardiovascular disease -- the top killer of diabetics.

1. Get in the Walking Habit

Make exercise a regular part of your life. Experts agree that diabetics should exercise several days a week. To get started with walking, the free Walk of Life 10-Week Program includes daily walking and exercise assignments, lessons on how to walk, healthy recipes and nutrition tips. You can follow each daily page or join the daily newsletter version.

2. Choose the Right Shoes

Taking care of your feet and preventing blisters is important for diabetics, as the disease slows wound healing. Properly fitted athletic shoes will help prevent blisters and other injuries, such as plantar fasciitis. The Walking Shoe Guide explains how to get fitted properly for walking shoes.

3. Socks are Important

Socks are also a critical defense against blisters. Toss out your cotton socks; they retain sweat and can cause blisters. Get socks made of today's miracle fabrics (such as CoolMax and Ultimax) that wick away sweat and prevent blisters.

4. Check Your Blood Sugar Levels

Check your blood sugar levels before and after walking.
Too low: below 100 mg/dl. If too low, you should eat some carbohydrates -- 15 to 30 grams.
Too high: over 250 mg/dl if Type 2, or over 200 mg/dl if Type 1. If too high, you need to postpone your walk until your blood sugar level lowers.
When out on a long walk, it is wise to check your blood sugar levels at regular intervals, especially if you are new to walking.

5. When to Walk

The best time for walking is 1 to 2 hours after a meal, when your insulin and blood sugar levels have settled down. Morning exercise is recommended, since it avoids the peak insulin part of the day, especially for Type 1 diabetics.

6. Your Insulin Dosage May Change

Your insulin requirements will change with exercise. When starting a walking program or increasing your amount of exercise, consult with your physician regularly on how to adjust your medications.

7. Drink, Drink, Drink, Drink, Drink

Drink up to prevent dehydration, which you may not notice until it is too late. Have a big glass of water an hour before walking, then drink a cup of water every 20 minutes while walking. At the end of your walk, drink another big glass of water. For long, hot walks of 2 hours or more, consider a sports drink that replaces salts, but check the carbohydrate content on the label.

8. Eating and Walking

Carry a snack for when you or your walking partner detects signs of low blood sugar. After walking, you may need to eat more carbohydrates than usual to prevent delayed hypoglycemia. Especially when starting or increasing your walking program, be extra aware of symptoms and signs, listen to your body, and consult your doctor with any questions on diet.

9. Know the Signs of Hypoglycemia

When walking, stay aware of your body and how you are feeling. It can be difficult to tell whether you are sweating from exertion or hypoglycemia. Here are symptoms, courtesy of NIH: feeling weak, drowsy, confused, hungry, and dizzy. Paleness, headache, irritability, trembling, sweating, rapid heart beat, and a cold, clammy feeling. In severe cases, you could lapse into a coma.

10. Buddy Up and Wear an Alert Bracelet

Walking with a partner or walking club has several benefits. First, you can have him watch you for signs of low blood sugar and nag you to take care of yourself. Second, walking with somebody else keeps you more regular in your exercise. In any case, wear a medical identification bracelet that says you have diabetes. That is critical in a medical emergency.
